About Us

ABOUT HEATHER

Fun. Different. Unique. Adventurous. That’s how I would describe my style of photography. I decided to be a “portrait” & wedding photographer after looking around and seeing all the traditionalist that filled our area. There is nothing wrong with traditional, but I wanted to give people the opportunity to capture their personality and to have some fun pictures to remember. You will notice I say “portrait” photographer because I consider myself more of a lifestyle photographer. I like to just spend time in 3 hours of your life, instead of you taking 3 hours to have your portraits taken.

I live and breathe photography. It has been said that my camera never leaves my side and that they believe I sleep, eat, and shower with it. It is what I do, and it is what I love. I would love to use my passion to capture your most important moments in life and give you pieces of art to hang on your wall.

When I am not taking photos I can be found playing guitar, drinking Sweet Tea, or marveling at God’s amazing creation (and probably taking pictures to, so maybe that doesn’t count!) I love meeting new people and making new friends. During your session, you might find we don’t mention your wedding that much instead we are talking about everything other than that. I consider every person I photograph a new friend and I treat you just like we are friends that have to catch up.

ABOUT WALTER

Hey, I’m Walter! I was born and grew up in Gastonia, NC. I am they guy that you will see following Heather around to all the weddings and sessions holding all of the equipment. (Yeah, she get’s the easy job!) During weddings I will be helping out with lighting, creating a slideshow for people to view, or taking pictures. I never really had a choice getting into photography, Heather just never stopped talking about it. (Of course, she probably never had a choice getting into music or politics either!) I can be a quiet person when I first meet you, but after I get to know you I become more outgoing.

When I am not helping out Heather with photography you will probably find me playing my keyboard or singing. You will also find me watching a lot of sports. I love the Charlotte Bobcats and the Carolina Panthers. I also love Pepsi, I drink it all the time. I love America, it is the coolest place in the world. I spend a lot of time in Walmart too…everything is cheaper there.

So, if you see the guy carrying around all the stuff or shooting pictures, yeah that’s me! See you soon!
