I got the amazing opportunity to have a shoot with Our State Magazine again last July. I was thrilled when I got the email to work again with them. The assignment was for the Edenton Steamers baseball game. I knew they had a historic grandstand & a great community feel but I had no clue the immensity until Walter & I arrived in Edenton to shoot. I truly felt like I was accepted in as part of the community & a little bit of a celebrity because of just how kind & generous everyone was toward us. People were so kind to show us around so we could get great shots & made us feel at home. It was such a great shoot & I love everytime I get to work with Our State. Our State is such an incredible magazine & every issue is amazing. I am so honored to be able to contribute to such an amazing magazine & hope I can again in the near future. Go get a magazine, it’s the May 2010 issue & they are in most stores such as Books-a-Million, Barnes & Nobles, Walmart, etc. Look for my article on page 78 & check out the rest of the magazine as well, it’s amazing.

Also if the website or email has been a little crazy, I have been switching hosts & the servers are having a bit of a problem. If you have sent me an email & I haven’t responded, I am really sorry & would love it if you could email me again! Thanks for the patience!

I had planned on doing a post on my new packaging today, but my packaging got featured on Paperie Boutique!

So instead of typing it all again, go check out my Guest Post. It was such an honor to get to write a guest post for a website I admire so much, and to get so many amazing compliments from people I looked to for inspiration for my packaging. Go check it out, leave a comment, and check out my amazing designer who made everything look so good.

Featured – Jewelboxing, CrysQ, & Bokeh Pot

I just realized I never blogged about being featured on CrysQ & Bokeh Pot, when I was looking at the sites that refer people here. I noticed there was a link to Jewelboxing.com and was ecstatic to see I was featured on their website as well!

I was featured on Bokeh Pot, which is a site that features photographers that have been in business for less than a year in December! I can’t believe I didn’t post a blog about it then.

CrysQ is one of my friends off of twitter, and she makes my slipcovers for my albums. Her stuff is lovely and she featured me on her site for my blog post about the slipcovers!

The last is my new feature on the Jewelboxing blog. I was very honored to see that I had been featured as one of three of the summer photographers who use their project for wedding cases. I absolutely love their products and send them as the casing for my digital negatives.

This is really exciting news for me! My photos, along with the story of Jill & Ed’s Green Wedding back in April has been featured on two amazing websites! I had been waiting to post the first one until the second feature came in!

The first site we were featured on was Mint Design.

Mint is written by Ellie, a graphic designer from North Carolina and I am so glad I got to be featured on her website.

The next feature is on The Green Bride Guide!

Jill & Ed were featured in the Real Weddings section, and it was such an honor to be a part of it!
