I am very behind in blogging, these pictures are from over a month ago! At least now I can tell everyone the reason, wedding planning!! Also, because I have too many amazing sessions to post.

I decided to lump all 3 of these sessions into 1 blog post. The Negus family (Michael & Trish) are Walter’s cousins.

Michael & Kristen told me they wanted some family pictures made and I was so excited to get to photograph their cute kids & family. Michael also wanted some photos of his band to use. Then Trish (Michael’s sister) decided she wanted some pictures with her boyfriend as well. So I got to take 3 amazing mini-sessions in one day! It was really great!

Michael & Kristen have such an adorable family & we had been trying to get together to do photos for a while. Now we finally got to and I am really glad we did.

Michael wanted some good shots of his band in downtown and they were such fun guys to take photos of!

Trish got some pictures of her & her boyfriend, but also some pictures of herself. She is getting into modeling, and she is definitely gorgeous & knows how to pose. I definitely wish I had more than a mini-session to take some pictures of her, I didn’t have to pose her at all.

Anytime – Jacob Clary // Shelby, NC

I had the opportunity to do a session with my cousin Jacob (who is a sophomore at UNC Wilmington) over the Christmas break. He wanted some good photos of him, as he said he had none, and possibly take some for a CD he might make. He was very easy to work with and already knew how to pose (he was almost like a model). (He joked saying “If I get any calls from this session to be a model, that would be great!” haha) I love getting to work with people who already know how to pose. Don’t get me wrong, I love posing people too, however, he was a natural and made the session so easy. We enjoyed catching up and spending time together. Enjoy the photos and don’t forget to see the slideshow at the end!

Anytime – Seth, Sam, & Taylor Crabtree // Belmont, NC

Seth, Sam, and Taylor wanted to surprise their parents and grandparents with pictures for Christmas. Due to this, as much as I have been DYING to blog about their session I couldn’t! Now that Christmas is over and everyone has seen the pictures I just couldn’t wait to show you these photos. These guys were great to work with and we had a blast, even though we didn’t have too much time as the sun was setting. (Our first time we tried to do the session got rained out!) We had to even teach Sam how to squat, I think he FINALLY figured it out the very last photo. It was priceless! Seth, Sam, and Taylor – I am so glad you family enjoyed the photos and I enjoyed taking them so much!

This was hilarious to climb up onto, then after they got settled Sam and Taylor decided to switch. They managed to without falling, it was QUITE impressive!

This is Taylor, he is a junior this year at UNC Chapel Hill.

This is Seth, he is taking a year off right now before he goes to UNC Chapel Hill next year. (as a Morehead scholar, he is a genius!)

This is Sam, he is senior at Forestview High School.

Anytime – An Amazing Weekend at Home!

I had a lovely weekend at home. First, I got to see my parents and sleep in my own bed. Second, I got to vote for the FIRST TIME on Saturday! It did take me a whole 3 hours and 45 minutes but it was awesome!! Third, I got to see all my friends I haven’t seen in a while which was great. AND Fourth, I got to go out and meet Amanda Eller. She was so sweet and I loved getting to spend a few hours with her. We roamed around downtown and both got some really needed shots of each other for our websites. (Well, I know I really needed some.) I felt like mine didn’t show my personality and I really wanted you to see ME in my photos. We got to share tips and find some cool locations. It was really an awesome experience. I had missed shooting as it is down season for the most part, so that was great. It was also great to get in front of the camera, and see just how uncomfortable it is. I know I learned a lot from that. I will be giving more directions, and helping people feel more comfortable from now on!! Because, I even got really camera shy! I absolutely loved my day with Amanda, and I hope I get to see her again soon! She is such an awesome person! I wanted to post a sneak peak for her, and for you guys to see what an awesome day we both had!
