I just love my new business cards so much, I would marry them. (Which is terrible to say on Walter’s birthday! Happy Birthday by the way Walter :]) Tracy started out as my awesome designer who gave me the logo of my dreams, she has become a very good friend through the whole process. I knew when I went to her and explained I wanted eye catching business cards to reflect that I do both weddings and portraits separately she would be able to make exactly what I wanted. I felt I wasn’t marketing my weddings enough and this is my specialty. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE portraits so very much, but weddings just makes me all giggly inside. She also found me this awesome blog background to match my new cards. If you EVER want anything designed, she is the absolute best! I love working with her and I never doubt that what is going to come out isn’t going to be absolutely perfect. I plan to use her more in the future as I get more press-printed marketing tools. She also made my beautiful new watermark. I couldn’t get it right and she told me to hold on one second she had an idea. She came back with EXACTLY what I had been trying to do before.

The cards are going to be printed on recycled card-stock and should be here in the next few weeks. I just can’t wait to start giving them out.

Also, if you are a wedding vendor in the state of North Carolina and would like to network with me. I am going to start a page with wedding vendors I like on this blog for brides to look at if they do not have a florist or venue or cake. I would love to look over you stuff and put your link up on the site. Please just email me for more information. contact@heathergarland.com

I finally got my packaging together. I love it! It is so simple and beautiful! The only thing left I have not received is my stickers that I will put in the corners. They are round with my HG monogram on them. Aren’t the cards, lovely? Tracy designed them for me! I just love it. On the inside, I have little white bags for the prints and teal tissue paper.

Playing with off-camera lighting too. I think I am beginning to get the hang of it. I think I might be able to start using these lights in my actual shoots soon.

But I hope my clients enjoy my new packaging too!
