Wow, I am very behind on blogging! I am so sorry everyone! It is not that I have nothing to blog about, I have plenty and more to come, I have just been VERY busy this week. My first wedding of the year is this weekend so I have been getting ready (and very excited!) about it. I also have been trying to get my records organized and everything backed-up (again! I back things up 3 times just in case!) I have been getting print, album, and product orders ready, ordered, packed, and delivered. I have been talking and meeting with potential clients. It has just been absolutely crazy and I expect the next 2-3 weeks to be EXACTLY the same. I love every single minute of it though! However, the little to-do application on my new iPhone (yes, new iPhone! YAY!!!) is blinking an evil and way too large number at me right now too! Now onto the real topic of the blog post…
Last weekend was my birthday! I absolutely love every year when my birthday rolls around, but doesn’t everyone? It is the one day that is yours every year. You know the day that even though you pick the restaurant EVERYONE hates but you love, they have to take you? So for my birthday I decided I wanted to go to Discovery Place in Charlotte (yes a museum, I am a dork!) We went to see the Grand Canyon Adventure on IMAX. I love IMAX so much it is so cool!
I thought the dinosaur exhibit was really neat, their heads moved and they made sounds. haha

I also loved the fish a lot! Some were cute…

And some were not…

And as dorky as it is, I love rocks. I had a huge rock collection when I was a kid!

After all of that we went to see Monsters v. Aliens in 3D. Can I say WOW? How in the world did they get 3D to look that amazing? The animation had DOF! WOAH! It was really a cute movie and I loved the 3D. Then of course we had some amazing Red Velvet Cake (my favorite!!) It was a lovely birthday and I loved getting to spend it with Walter and my parents.
Now I am off to tackle this to-do list! YAY! At least one item is now check off… this blog!
