I got the AMAZING chance to meet up with some awesome photographers in the Greenville area and Julie Mixon of http://www.jsmixonphoto.com/ gave us all a little how-to on off-camera lighting, which has confused me for quite a while! Just wanted to show some photos from the day, Julie got together three awesome friends to be models for us! I have the stands, lights, and umbrellas, just need some pocket wizards and I will be able to add these lights to my shoots!

- Off-camera lighting is lots of fun. Looks like you guys had a blast! Instead of PocketWizards--and all the jokes that follow off of the name, ;-) --Elinchrom Skyport (universal, not RX) and Cybersync are popular mid-range alternatives. I have the Skyports and like them well enough.

- How did you get hooked up with all these area photographers? I've been looking for a meet up or something in the area (even though I'm not a pro, just a serious hobbyist) without any luck. I'd love to know if you all meet up again sometime!
- nice heather! you should consider getting the CyberSyncs to save some money. I've got a set and they've worked great for me!
