Happy 2010 Everyone! I should have a sentimental look back on 2009 and talk about how my business improved this year, but I am too busy trying to look ahead and prepare for an exciting 2010. 2009 was a great year, it was my first full year as a wedding and portrait photographer. I have learned so much and changed so much in this year, and I am so thankful for it. I have so much to look forward to in 2010 though, that 2009 almost looks dull. I am so excited about my brides I have booked next year, the sessions I have booked, and the opportunities I have planned.

I also have some really exciting changes coming to Heather Garland Photography itself. You might have noticed the blog has been down on and off for the past couple of days. That’s because I am getting ready to roll out some very exciting news, very soon. So check back on the blog soon for some great new things for 2010!

And because there are too many blog posts without pictures on here, check out a sneak peak of my last bridal session. You will just have to wait though to see how truly beautiful this bride was.
